Central Idea:
Evidence of past civilizations can be used to make connections to present day societies
Lines of Inquiry:
- Each civilization has its own characteristics which are present in their society.
- Connections between past and present have implications for the future of society.
- Processes involved in collecting, analysing and validating evidence, allow us to connect and reflect about the past and present.
In this unit we will study the
Aztecs, Mayans and Incas.
In order to understand better this topic you need to know about how our continent was discovered/conquered.
